  3. I don't watch a lot of television. But I did watch a few episodes of Monster Garage. Any show that features guys such as Norm Grabowsky and Indian Larry has a healthy dose of coolness. As for JJ ... I admire his creativity, fabrication skills and, above all, his business savvy. Plus he cracks me up with some of his wit.

That show was definetly ahead of the other reality type shows (ie. Am. Choppers, Am. Hot Rods, etc.). :)

They could build a mobile shark tank with ramps and then build a custom machine to jump it...whatever, just so long as they don't do things like strip an SS El Camino and throw the parts in a heap like garbage..I guess it added to the "drama", made us talk....

Mr. Seacrest-- does this mean you're not going to be doing American Idol anymore? We have so many great celebrities on the HAMB-- the only reason it rules.

    I *HEART-ON* celebrities!

  7. A buddy of mine just got called to do an interview for MG tomorrow morning. I think they plan on shooting right next to our old shop, too bad this didn't happen last year before we closed the doors.

Have Jessie Venturea host it. If they don't get it finished they could call it "Monster Mash."

Yea, I had a question about this....I never watched the show, but I did catch a repeat episode, where they had missed the deadline on a Anglia gasser style build. Roland Leong was one of the builders.
Aside from cutting up a really nice Anglia, (which is ok with me, if they hadn't crushed it) they had put a brand new Hardcore Chevy engine in it, that had a 6-71 blower on it. (I'm guessing it was $20,000 engine set-up).
So they missed the deadline, and then they showed Jesse dropping a huge weight on it from a crane. I told my wife "There's no way they are going to crush a brand new $20,000 engine....." But they did.
I said...."WTF!?!?! Why would they crush a brand new engine?
    I'm still confused!

I'll go with old old school Detroit hosts for Al, Barry, and Gordie --howzabout Sir Graves Ghastly or maybe even Sargent Sacto?

Too bad Bill Kennedy is dead...
