where is a decent bone yard thread

    so im just curious about where your classic junk yards are located at?
    i live in jacksonville North Carolina, and i dont know of any decent junk yards around here to find parts.

    the closes junk yard i think my town has, its east coast...and its filled more with modern cars.

    lets see some pics to people.

    Uh, have you done a search?
    That or re-title this to include North Carolina, you might get more hits that way.

    There is old tin in and around J'ville. Most of the good tin you'll find behind old (but still in operation) hardware stores, abandoned stations, trailor parks - mostly private stashes but it can be bought. It's not the best of condition compared to most of the finds that you see posted here but is workable. Put the word out to local gearheads. Hell, through a casual meet-n-greet last month I learned of a '48 Chevy coupe that could be had for $450.
