Sneak peak of the stiletto 51 merc. Will be pulling the triger on it today. Have mixed up a coalbolt candy blue that is going over a mine flake titatiam base with art work done in solid black with med gold flake overlay ( see dash pic )
Ok, just steeped out of the old booth. Now in the base color titatium and still wet. The real fun starts tomarrow the art work layout.

Damn dude.... yer givin' me a boner at work.... if i have to step away from the desk I am in trouble! hahahaha
Yes i agree with the flame lay out. Customer wanted them that way but i am trying to get him to let me change them. You know the customer is always right
Thanks for all your imput on the flames. Our customer has given us the ok to make them go away. Will be finishing it in the coalbolt cany blue with no art work except for some stripping. Here's what it looks like with the fist coat of the shinney stuff
Just rolled it out of the booth. Hoping to have it at the ink & iron show. Only have 5 days left to finish it . We put a little pearl in the first coat of the clear. Out in the sun light the pearl realy changes the blue to a purple tint in the shadows.
Ok here is the new art layout for the hood and fenders. I just laided this art work out and want to hear some imput good or bad on it before i make it permenat GB & Thanks, Rick & Carol Erickson on EXK EXTREME KUSTOMS www.ericksonskustoms.com
The scallop going across the hood is getting screwed up by the hood shape and looks crooked to me from 2 of the 3 angles. not sure how to fix it..but to make the scallops go away and bring the front edge of the flame panel farther forward and don't go down the side of the hood with it...follow the natural shape of the hood. Love the blue!
