weird...they are all showing up on my screen...

 

There were 2 at the Little Guy Nats at Dinwiddie...everytime I'd have my camera...I couldn't find them. When we were on our way up to the lanes they were heading back to the pits!!!

 

can't see them there either, I need to be approved to join the group....I hope it doesn't involve any hazing.

 

I remember seeing a picture of a 55-57 roadster at the salt flats with a tonneau cover over the p***enger seat, does anyone know the car I'm talking about?

 

I've got a 60 with a tonneau that ran at the lakes, the "No Cl***" T-Bird built by Pat Saldecke.

rustbelt, I got all the pictures above from Betruger's profile pictures...they are HERE with no membership required, and I think the salt flat picture is there too.

 

...not mine but a true hot rod. I can't remember the details of this "little bird" but I'm sure somebody on here will remember.

This is Dave Simard's car. He bought it from the original owner, who was pals with Doane Spencer. Doane also had a killer Bird he ran at the Lakes.





Dave added the wheels.

L.W. "Knott" Farrington's Hel's Angel on the salt in '62. A-Modified Sports record 242mph. The most beautiful T bird ever, to me. And, yes, It is a '55 T bird.
