Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about the car's past history...I'd get started making it some NEW history! Build it the way you want it and enjoy it...and the next person to own it will do the same...and so on, and so on...

At any rate, it's got loads of potential!

I recall a orange 55 chevrolet "g***er' that ran out of Detroit area in the 60's..Guys Owners last name was "Clark"..
Car was known as Rambunctious..
Named long before Snow had drag cars with similar names..

There is a guy around Dayton Ohio who has had an add in the local trader looking for his old '55 g***er. My dad has one and my uncle had one and the guy says they're not his. Maybe I'll try to find an old trader and you can call him. Or try to find it on line. I think it's traderonline.com but IDK.

 

The wagon g***er is cool, but it just doesn't look right behind show car ropes...
