28-29 Model A Sedan dimensions

I'm about to take off on a road-trip to pick up a sedan that I recently got. I'm looking for width deminsions of a sedan with stock frame to see if I need to take a trailer or if it will fit in the bed of my truck.

we brought one home in the bed of my 84 c10 shortbed....brought my coupe home in the bed of my 98 s10 short bed....didn't fit as well....

 

I brought my 29 sedan home in my 2006 shortbed F250

 

Fwiw you can set a 28-31 roadster body in an 8' bed and shut the tailgate.

 

you can fit an entire model A in the back of an 8' pick up bed..granted the A has to be apart..but it will all fit..just gotta be creative..and put shtuff inside..

dont bother draging the trailer..if you have help to put it in the back of the truck
if the body is still attached to the frame, just run with the gate down

 

It looks like I'm going without a trailer, then. I expected to run back with the tailgate down as the car is still on the frame and is longer than my bed.

You can put an A frame in the trunk of a 68 Impala if you take out the back seat & support.

 

I brought my A home in a 6x12 dual axle trailer and it worked just fine. Mine had larger wheels and tires, but fit perfect.

 

put up some pictures after you get it..

 

brought my sedan home in a full size pick-up.........

 

I'll do it. My 11 year old will be responsible for all of the pictures from TX to IA and back.
