Wisconsin HAMBers - going to WI for 2 mos.

I've got a 2 month ***ignment at Point Beach starting 01JUN09. I'll be close to Green Bay and not so close to Milwaukee, but close enough. What is going to be happening in June and July?

 

Iola Old Car Show and Swap. July 10-12 in beautiful Iola, WI. I'm sure there will be more posts on it as as we get closer.

 

Our club has a show on the 28th of June at South Park in Oshkosh. Usually get around 275 - 300 cars.

 

July 18; Port Washington Fish Day - usually a couple hundred cars, lots of fish and beer

August 7-9; Symco Shakedown - search here on the Hamb. Appears that it would be waiting around for!

And as noted above, Iola is a must for parts scrounging.....

 

It's a little bit of a drive and not in Packerland but "Back to the 50's" is June 19, 20, 21st at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds. 11,500 plus pre 1965 cars of all kinds.

June is a crazy month for hot rodding here.
Hot rod power tour, fifties, as well as the standard small shows. July is Iola, pierce park and some others. We have a newer drive-in in freedom. Look up me, fiddyfour, rob Paul, squablow, louverdude or anyone else and we will make sure your included in our weekly goings on.
It would be WELL worth sticking around until aug 7&8 for the symco shakedown. We have a great group of guys here in northeast wi.

 

Power Tour in Madison June 6th & Racine on the 7th.

 

i'm heading to power tour fri night coming back sun. probably take my '65 galaxie. Have a free place to stay in Madison if you want to tag along. carguy is going down either sat or sun for the day as well.

It's a little bit of a trip, but The S**** Drive show ( www.thes****drive.com ) is June 13th in Belvedere ILL, at the Boone County Fairgrounds.

 

I'm probably driving down for that as well in my late model which gets 45+ MPG. Your welcome to tag along. S**** drive is worth it.
