my little bro sent me the folowing pic wondering what the car is. for half a second i wanted to say "55 Chevy" but it only took that long to realize that was'nt right... i'm usualy pretty good at this game but i'm not sure on this one. sooooooo. WHAT IS IT????

 

It may be an Opel from the late 50s.

i know its not but does look alot like a 55 chevy nomad

 

What year is it, would it come between the ones that looked like sort of a runty '57 Pontiac and the ones that looked like a Nova-sized '61 Chevy?

 

Its a 1958 Holden. Where was the picture taken?

 

Yeah on the money FC holden 58-60.

 

I was thinking maybe a late 50's Hillman.

It is an Australian version /copy/impression of 55 chev my opinion.
But to aussies its a FC/FE station sedan around 1958 and had a straight six only.

yep definately holden fc, search for posts by 'fccool' he has to be close to finishing his fc wagon, supercharged 202 straight 6, quad canted headlights, draw pull grill etc. etc. i think the best looking fc around. makes me want a wagon for sure.
