Help with Chevy Vent window seals

Just got these new front vent window seals for my 51 Chevy Styleline from National Chevy Parts pn#5011, but the metal tabs for the top and bottom holes don't line up.
Has anyone used these before and got the seals to work correctly?
Is there another seal that will fit?

 

I am pretty sure that there is a right and a left side. Did you maybe get 2 of the same one? Flip it upside down and see if the tabs line up.

 

Welcome to the world of parts made in foreign countries. Modify them, and they will work just fine.

 

Both the supplied vertical seals are diferent but neither one fits neither frame. It's frustrating as it ain't easy getting parts to Perth, nor is it cheap. Just don't want to go buy more from another supplier, and have the same thing happen.
