Those pics were all posted before, but not with the contact info like an adverti*****t. Seems prices are high enough that most of it will continue to sit there.
Some nice stuff - prices are a bit lofty for what's there and what it will take to retrieve it and bring it home. I enjoyed that 51 Monarch - haven't seen one in awhile. The stuff that's about half gone will continue to deteriorate, and if he (?) was to get a bit more realistic - some if it might sell. Judging from the prices, it appears he'd rather let them follow him into 'ashes to ashes, dust to dust, rust to rust'. A shame actually. dj
****. seeing that A Sedan deluxe for 3500 sure makes me feel good that I got my Tudor for $3600, running, driving with ***le. Guess I'm just lucky. Jeff
I'd take the '56 Ford COE, but by the looks of the ones that have prices they want too much, even for real metal.
Lot of cool stuff. If it was priced a little more reasonable, he could get rid of it all, and still make a bunch of $$$$$$$$. Everybody would benefit. Oh well its his stuff.
The color must be off on my monitor. They look rusty, but i guess they're gold plated. My guess is the price is why he still has all of those cars sitting there.
Wow what a collection.A little pricy, but what the heck if there is something you must have there ya go.I see it this way ,they have it you don't and they saved it for you all these years.Storage costs $ also.LOL. It's nice that everything is for sale. I hate to see when a guy hords old cars and parts that he won't do anything with but won't sell anything.
I'm watching pictures open and by the time you figure the prices are in fact in Canadian dollars (I see at least one clearly Canadian Pontiac in the pictures, as well as a '59 Canadian Dodge with a Plymouth body shell) and the relative lack of rust, most of them are pretty reasonable. But as usual every time someone posts a thread like this the replies run about 7 out of 10 whining about it, people who see surface rust and scream like a little girl apparently. It's like no one understands the concepts of "asking price" and "making an offer" anymore, let alone actually have the ambition to do the hard work to build a car. Some of them I'd have cheaper, some I'd have the same price on - in US dollars. The 1919 Whippet is a steal - what's it work out to with the exhange rate? $750? $800? Come on, where you going to find another one at ANY price? Oh, and a running, driving A of any stripe for $3500 is a steal. Particularly if it doesn't need patch panels. I've sold non-runners that needed panels and wood for $2500 no problem. They didn't sell overnight, but they sold.
where was a running, driving model a for $3500.00? I dont think alot of the guys are whining about the condition of the parts, its more about the price. The stuff is in real good shape, but most of it is priced too high. Most of the guys on here know it. Im sure you do to.
Does seem like some of the prices are a bit high, but in 10 years we'll look back on this post and say "Remember when we could buy........"
