Since the days of ZZ Top on MTV Ive always thought the 33 34 Ford Coupe was the coolest of the cool...I had almost given up hope that I would ever own one. But opportunity knocked this weekend and I jumped on the opportunity. It rough, full of bondo, and has a ****ty chop but I think its the most purdy thing Ive ever seen because its my 34 Coupe. Ive seen worse turned to nice cars...what do you think?

Nice score! Interesting that it's sitting on a Model A frame and I've seen much worse bodies repaired. What are your plans for it?

cool find! what do i think? since you asked, i'd say a merc flathead if you could find one. will you put fenders on, or leave them off?

aww dat things no good, the spokes look all wrong and the paint is crummy.
Better haul it over here and I'll make sure it gets recycled into a new honda.;)

A pickup bed load of fenders came with it but Im leaning fenderless and early hemi. I have the original frame but it is thin in places so Ill probably get some repro rails and use original X member and front crossmember. Ive got a 40 front axle and can get a 40 rear Id like to find a halibrand QC center for it someday.

Yeah the frame has juice brakes and in pretty good condition...I think I may have it sold...so that extra change would help in the search for more parts.

Yeah, that's a hell of a score! You sure the whole ZZ Top thing was the coupe or the girls that were standard equipment?

Like you said, its' your '34 and its' a keeper! 3 cars conjure an image when you give the year: 34 coupe, 40 willys and 49 merc., don't come any better, congrats

You can't beat a chopped, fenderless 34 five window. Great score!
