Now that my coupe is back on the road, and hoping I can keep it in one piece until August 23rd, I have a few cars in my sights for the 1320 at MoKan.

    #1- Jeff "hiboy32" '32 5 window
    #2- Chris "Beemer" T coupe
#3- Ryan "Ryan" and the Tardel/Cochran AV8 coupe

All coupes, all "built" flattys, all normally aspirated.....

Gee...I dunno...I haven't seen anything Ryan ownes make it down the track in a few years....

His shiny black coupe with the bad ass Chevvie motor used to whup up on everybody, but I think he makes it stay in the garage these days...Too bad, I would LOVE to see it make a pass.

I just hope to have the `40 done in time!

  8. Ooooooooooooooooooooooh....this sounds serious. This race may even eclipse the famous "Tuck and Rocky Rambler brawl"...watch those fragile early ford trannys!

Man... I dunno if the Tardel/Cochran coupe could even be bothered with this race. We normally just stomp on overheads... BUT, I guess we could stoop a little. :)

I'd have pent up anger too if I lived in Mustang, OK. :)

Let it out... You'll feel better!

And yeah, the '38 isn't traditional. It's just fast.

The a-coupe on the other hand... :)

His air bags are not rubber, they are made of buffalo skin dried and wrapped by the choctaw indians......therefore they are traditional.

  19. Now Ryan, I do sort of remember you having your ass handed to you and the 38 by your Dad in some ol' import. He even had the air on. ;-)

Regardless, a bitchen car that was one of my benchmarks to measure my coupe against.

i dunno bud cause from what i remember, last time i seen your T/C coupe at MoKan that car wasn't so healthy. as i recall, you had all you could do just to get it winched off the trailer, didn't wanna start... then to top it all off, there was Marcie shakin her finger at you to "stop messing with that car, this IS your party, REMEMBER?"...

all bark an no chops, wait... you sooners usually say, all hat an no horse, aint it?

    sad dude, sad.

That would be cool if you made it up.

There is no "class" for unblown flatheads (as far as I know). It would be a grudge match amungst comrades.

So far that I can see committed are hiboy32, beemer, and myself. Ryan may be there also....

I am looking for Lee Chapel's daughter. I just talked with Carl Schmid. He Lives near me, and has what is left of Lee's Tornado. My Dad, Bob Allinger built the body.
