That is New England Dragway in Epping New Hampshire. Richie Broughton's "Comanche", and he walked away with minor injury. Take note of the water pipe guard rails, more than few cars got torn up, before swithing to armco guard rails.

Here is a car we found in a barn, it was built in 68 in the UK and has had several engine combo,s. We will restore it to its original SBC guise when it was "the red baron".........
first shot is the Brighton speed trials..

Very nice brass work. I like to use bras too, uch better than plastic tubing. Here is a 1/32 Aston Martin DB5 I have been doing, though I used plastic card for the floor/firewall.

    What a cool thread!!!!!!:)
heaps of COOL cars to look at again.
Nice work Doc, never thought an Aston Martin would look that good as a drag car.
I too build with brass and steel wire to make Drag Slot Cars.
    Scale chassis with bracing etc.
These are just some of the cars we race, we have FED's, Gassers, F/C, P/S etc.

Most of you who know me know I'm a GASSER freak so I'll be posting some GASSERS out of my collection. Will give credit if I know who took the photos.

A lot have beemn posted here but there should be quite a few that haven't been seen.

Heres one of my favorites, the late Ron Brizo.

    Thanks,

    plum
