English HAMBers - OT

Hi guys
Am in London and am about to buy a non-HAMB car to tour Europe and hit some hot rod events along the way and maybe catch up with a few guys from here.

Im hoping to buy a van this weekend and would like to know is there an office I can go to to change the registration etc over into my name rather then having to post it in and wait for it as I want to head to France pretty quick.

If anyone is close by with a workshop I need to knock up a false floor in the van to make storage underneath and a bed on top. Happy to bring the beer Will aim at getting to Northampton . Thats what we always used to do.

Used to cost money, but might not now, with the internet.

Im sure the guys you are staying with, should be able to advise.

Hey A32 nope not them and have just bought a transit - well it is a Ford

 

Can't go wrong with a Transit, my Dad drove them for almost 30 years...best selling van in the world.

I don't know if you are touring the whole country, but, if you are and you get anywhere near the North of Scotland, give us a PM. Had a Rodder from Melbourne just passing last Sat. and he dropped in for an Hour or so. You would be welcome!!
