The only reason i haven't installed my teardrop, is that i dont know how to deal with the stock hood bubble.. you posted that you've 3M bonded the gl*** scoop the the steel hood- where did you find a steel hood without the factory bulge? or is the bulge a factory optiion?

I used a factory hood and worked the metal with a shrinking hammer and had to cut and weld in a few areas. If I was to do it again I would have cut out what was left of the bulge and replace it with some of the metal that I cut from putting the scoop hole in. Its not bad to do and just takes time, I am no body man by no means.

Looks perfect....ever thought about patching the square openings under the grill? You should have someone photoshop it. $.02

  9. This is one of my favorite Falcon pictures, I think it would look better with the teardrop hood scoop.

Nice Car! The scoop looks perfect on it.

Like someone else posted, before I saw it I was hoping I would not see a pro stock style scoop everyone would trash.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to see more pics of your Falcon. You got the whole 60's G***er A/FX look done perfect...

The scoop looks PERFECT! Love it.

Since you did ask for opinions... Not crazy about the windshield banner on a period style car. Really spoils the rest of the vintage flavor to me, but LOVE the rest of the car.

    NICE RIDE!

Ya the windshield banner is out of place but that was put on the car 16 years ago when my dad and I started building & racing it and just havent brought myself to taking it off. The JB stands for Jon & Bob and my dad had coats made with the same banner on the back of them so it is going to stay for now, but I thanks you for your thoughts on the hood and car.
