I delivered a 61 Econoline to a guy in Arkansas and found this about two miles down the road. Brought it home for $600. All the chrome is inside the car and the drivetrain is complete and intact

Tweaked mine too. Unfortunately it happened while mowing the lawn. Ugh.... BUT.... last weekend I scored a nice bed for my other '34 pickup! Does that count?

Went nuts and bought a prewar-flatty McCulloch supercharger.

  8. Found an emergency brake lever from a 1928 Studebaker to go in my AV8 project. Cooler than an A lever. Unfortunately I had to take two Stude trans to get it.... and those ****ers are twice the weight of a flattie trans. :( So now I got a tweaked back too......

  9. scored some quality time with the wife & 9 mo. daughter, as well as close friends. no rod parts. oh well

My Dad and I drove an hour and a half and picked up this 1930 roadster. It needs some work, but it will be fun to fix it up and I hope to learn alot. I will not be old enough to drive it (legally!) for another year.

I scored a 364 nailhead for $10 on craigslist. And it was only a few blocks away. Good for parts on my 401 project motor.

I have a junk removal business and today I picked this old gem up. The lady who asked me to haul it away said she got it new as a child in the 40's. It's always been stored in a shed or garage, and even the tires are original! Too cool! I'm just doing some research on it to see if it's worth anything.

Picked up what's left of a late 20's he****. Filled up a trailer with all the junk that came with it...I've wanted one for a while so now I have it, but now I also have less space for my other projects to move around :D.

  22. I finally got back in touch with the guy that had a Themes panel delivery that wanted $300 for it only this time he just wanted it gone so as of so far this is the free Themes score (although I don't feel right not giving him something so I am sending him the money that he wouldn't take this time, a whopping $200)

These are old pictures of it, the only difference now is that it is sitting on my trailer in my driveway.

There has been a bunch of hacking done on the frame. It looks like some tweeker tried to do a V8 swap into it and it has a 8" or 9" ford rear under it and at this point in it's life it needs all the wood replaced but hell I think that it's great material to start a tube framed something or other, maybe a hot four cylinder powered delivery for my fabrication business, who knows.

    Thanx

  24. That Thames panel is cool. EVen has the semaphore turn signals! Neat how the styling is a scaled down version of US styling. The doors look like scaled down '35-'36 car doors, grille looks like a scaled down '37 truck grille.

  27. Not a whole lot.

Went to a BBQ yesterday, good.
Got first dibs on a set of fairly good looking slot mags so we'll see what happens there.

Today, just took a Hawaiian style chicken out of the Orion cooker - five more minutes and I'll slice into it.

Italian bread done up cheese bread style in the broiler, potato salad and that's about the end of my weekend.

Did get set up for a couple of easy maintenance items on the 32.
Been driving heck out of it lately....
