1954 chevy 210 master cylinder?

I just pulled out the master cylinder to my 54 chevy 210, and I can't seem to figure out how to detach the pivot linkage from the brake and clutch from the master cylinder. can anyone help me out?

Remove the plug near the pedal pivot on the end. Then pull out the little lock pin. Then the pedals will come out both sides.
