Have you thought about getting a T-5 and rebuilding it with the real good parts ? They are not hard to do .
Jim I done some calling around yesterday on that very idea.Every thing I came up with was going to cost more than a tko.cruznbrucie I already googled them but was wanting to know where people had bought theirs with a good price and service.
from what I gather, the 2200 is mandated by tremec and anyone selling below that gets dropped. The "deal" comes in how much free stuff (yoke, oil, etc.) a particular dealer will kick in for the 2200.
Another vote for Fortes Parts connection. Tremec only lets so many shops buy direct. He is one of the last of the "small guys" that can still buy from the factory. Rest are the big warehouses that mark them up a ton. Everyone else in world is buying trans second hand from one of the certified dealers. Talk to Mike Forte, he's the owner.
