    Thanks all.
Theres a couple other guys who have lil campers too, but couldnt make this weekend.
We're hoping to have them all together during one of this summers shows.

Its great, relaxing fun. I am perfectly content sitting under a tree watching the world go by during these weekends.

Nice! There's a vintage camper in my future, after the wagon is done.

Wow, that looks so great, inspires me to get my act together and get my builds done and make a few outings like that!

It's not just random chance that I'm building a '57 F100, I searched for a '57 Effie for a long time. Now, my truck is almost on the road and when I'm done I'll be moving on to the trailer. I'm lucky enough to have my grandparent's '57 Kenskill. The inside is like a time capsule, almost as nice as new, they lived through the depression... they took care of their things! Unfortunately, though kept in a car port, the sun has bleached the original paint. No problem, it forces to to decide, paint or polish?

Here are a couple of examples of '57 Kenskill trailers, mine is exactly like the first picture. The second is the same trailer polished, the polished one really helps to motivate/inspire me. The last shot is how I would paint the trailer, sort of a sweet blend of both worlds.

This thread is great inspiration! Thanks for the pictures!!!

  7. Awesome. I've got a 59 Aloha 12 footer myself. One of these days I keep telling myself "Self, you gotta get that thing out and the kids camping while you still have the chance."

I like it. Circle the wagons, campfire in the center, telling stories and solving world problems with good friends and beer into the night.

that looks like a lot of fun! My wife spouted...that looks like somewhere far far away from here (we are in the desert)...but agrees it looks like a nice relaxing time.

Now to talk my friends into buying some vintage trailers!!!
