Sad News in Tulsa

Racers

Do to circumstances beyond our control the May 29th race, at Tulsa, will not be run.

We will resume our race schedule with the June 26th race.
Please help us kick off the year with a big turn out for that race.

Where did you get your information ?
I just received an E-mail from the track manager
saying the SDRA cars are racing this Friday May 29 as scheduled.
Please check with the track manager to confirm as a lot of people
were planning to attend.

 

I got a call from Larry last night saying it had been cancelled. I am ready to go but I was told that all the other cars are not or cannot attend. I would have been the only SDRA car there. I would have been racing myself. Roy

 

I guess we'll try it again in June.

I had lunch with Bob today. He's doing good. He's up and at the shop days. As expected the soreness is there, but it hasn't hurt his talking any.

There was more to it than just Bob's health. Promotor thanked us for helping him out due to more cars signing up for a special race that night than he planed for. We would have been restricted on track time or had to run way into the night(early morning).
