Goin' to Paso Maria - heard there's gonna be some cruisin' action on Broadway Friday nite . . . AND Ventura - heck, my shop is a mile from the Fairgrounds.
It's going to be a busy summer, there's something exciting going on every week:
May 22-24 Paso Maria, May 30 BTTB, June 7 Pomona, June 10 Van Nuys Cruise, June 14 El Mirage, June 19-21 L.A. Roadsters, July 12 El Mirage again, July 25 Lifters/Barona, August 7-14 Bonneville, August 15 Pomona, etc. . . .

 

It's all good, Rick. I actually agree with you. I have had a room booked for the Primer Nats since last year when I left. I've done Paso just about the same 15 you have and know exactly what you mean. However, my house is 2 blocks from the fairgrounds in SM. Last year, the temp gauge never moved off cold getting in the show. So, SM is on my list. I will be in Ventura for Back to the Beach, as well. Probably just for Fri and Sat.. Does that mean no Santa Maria for you??? I can probably get you a "get out of jail free card" if you need it. I don't think anyone has been shot in the last couple of hours...

I wasn't trying to make this a BTB vs SM thread.

I'm not going to SM because I lost my job a few months ago and I was hoping to be back at work by now. Since a few job opportunities have fallen through latley... spending the extra money just doesn't feel very responsible right now.

I was there last year and had a blast. I'll be back at SM next year....maybe selling paletas out of a cart... but I'll be there.

Everyone have fun at SM... and I hope to see you all at BTTB.

YA will be there!!!! I had to go out of town for work last weekend.....will you be there?

 

Sammy and I will be rolling up on Saturday for the day! I had an awesome time in Santa Maria and look forward to having the opportunity to drive again on Saturday

i'm leaving out of lawndale at around quarter til 5 saturday morning if anyone wants to roll. meeting DJR13 at jerry's deli in marina del rey at 5 an jumping right back on the fwy if anyone from that area wants to roll....
