I have a 1946 stylemaster sedan & a 1948 sedan for parts - Don't know what to do with them!!!
both have the straight 6 and enough parts to complete one complete restoration. With some love!!! I got them out of a field - been sitting there for about 10-15 yrs
any ideas ? or anyone interested in them?

  2. I googled it to see what they looked like; saw a nifty two tone paint scheme on a 46 four door. Black above the beltline and on the fenders, and a cream or very light green elsewhere.

The Pomona Swapmeet in Southern California has a lot of lowrider guys who would ****** them or their parts up really fast. Too bad your in Utah.

Heres a few pics of the cars
They are both sedans - from the vin #'s the more complete one is a 46 and the other one (missing the front end) is a 48

krome -make me an offer - Id even loook at something for trade.

****us - I hear you man - I think this would make a great lowrider

Just picked up a 48 stylemaster. I think these cars are sweet. I would say get to work and build the ****er.

Your '48 is a Fleetline 4 door sedan, commonly referred to as a "German Helmet". Very popular with the lowrider crowd. Your '46 has some Fleetline fender trims and a '47-'48 hood on it, someone has done some parts swapping on that in the past.

If you're going to sell them, I would part out the '46 to make the German Helmet a more complete car with a front clip and a rollable drivetrain. Make the GH a complete car and sell that, then part out what's left of the other car.

If you're going to build them, I would build the Helmet and keep the other car around for parts. A Fleetmaster/Stylemaster 4 door sedan isn't a valueable car but it would be a great source of parts for a build. The Helmet would be a worthwhile project to build, I would go lowrider bomb style on it, wouldn't make much of a hot rod but would make a fine bomb.
