I am rebuilding the subframe I just grafted on to my 57 Chevy truck, and it looks like a mid 70's camaro, taste like a mid 70's camaro and smells like a ...well you get the picture, but it may not be a camaro, maybe a pontiac?

Anyhow, I took off the bearings and got this for the inners:

    NDH LM67048/LM67010

Google it and got everything from lawnomower bearing to countersdhaft bearing to trailer axle bearing. It seems like an older generic bearing.

From what I can gather, is this the same as an A6 inner bearing?

I need to narrow down an actual year/make to finish the rebuild.

    Thanks
    Rey

I looked on the timkin site and even downloaded the cross reference chart and couldn't find a cross for a NDH brng, but there are other manufactures that made the brng with that part number. Best bet at this point is find a "OLD" parts store and have them cross it. It's easier with master books in hand. And by "old" I mean a parts store that's been around the block, not your normal auto zone etc. Also, look up a Kaman Bearing. Here's the local in texas Kaman brng houses.

    Here's the deal...
That is the most common inner bearing ! fits ford,gm chry and many more..
The easiest way to tell 2nd gen camaro etc. apart is the centerlink /idler arm/pittman arm.
Look for castle nuts w/cotter pins on the inner tie rods and where the center link bolts to the idler and pittman arm..
Castle nuts/ cotter pins is 70 to 77..
If NO cotter pins ( just pinch nuts ) then you have a late 78 to 81 clip.
Another clue is metric lug nuts on the rotors..
Think chevelle, regal,cutl***..... they went to the "metric" ch***is (smaller) in 78.
Thats when the camaro went to "metric" parts..
Not the same as the regal etc, but also not the same as 70 to 77 camaro!!
BTW, the 70 to 77 camaro uses the A6 inner brg and an A2 outer brg.. the 78 to 81 uses the A6 inner and a different outer ( a12 I think )..
WOW..I hope I dont get in trouble for talking about camaros here LOL LOL !!
    Good luck
PM me if you need more details
We use the camaro clip on our oval track race cars ( and a few hot rods )

That is an A-6 Bearing set, tapered cone and cup.

    Thanks Dave,
Unfortunately, the subframe does not have the centerlink /idler arm/pittman arm, here are pics before it went into the truck:

The driver side spindle is stamped with the following numbers 353LH23 on the outside and 32393S3 LI23 GMLH23N on the inside.

So since I cant use the centerlink etc to tell, the next is the lug nuts ARE NOT metric, and by the bearing numbers and their cross-reference, they are A6. In a previous post we had narrowed it down to a 77-79, but with these new developments are we looking at a 70-77 Camaro?

The input shaft diameter on the gearbox might also help you narrow down the year further if you want to go that far. 67-76 Camaro/Firebird has a 13/16" diameter while the later (77-79) has a 3/4" input. That plus the fact that you know it is not metric should put you in the ballpark. Cesar

    I'll look into this.

I looked at the rockauto site and looks like ball joints are pretty much standard for GM 70-79, bushings have different years, 70-73 then from 74-79.

I guess its going to come down to buy/fit/yes/no and take it from there.

I'll start with your run of the mill 1978 Camaro and go from there.
