Instead of going to Santa Maria this year I decided to stay home and work on the Legion Spl. The hood has been draging on for a month and I just couldnt seem to make any real progress with it. so with the long weekend I decided to work on it non-stop till it was done.
friday night, cut the hoodsides to fit and bolted the piano hinge to it. didnt take any pics. though. I got the hood cut out for the exhaust and carbs On Sat. I got the trim cut out and bolted on, on Sunday. started to cut the trim for the front grill, on monday, and should have that done by next weekend.<p>[IMG]

  10. Great work as usual. What mesh did you use on the right hood side? Bellypan next?

The mesh is just window screen for mockup purposes. The real mesh will be a stiff and thicker polished stainless.

Grille insert is next. In fact, Matt is on it right now.

    Then the belly pan!

That really looks good. The rivited opening really gives it a finished appearance.
