My friend Lenny bought this 36 as a stocker 2 years ago. He lowered it last year with a dropped axle and reverse eyed springs front and rear. This past winter he pulled the engine and freshened it up, adding the Thickstun and heads, and also cleaned up the interior and had the dash and garnish moldings wood grained. He also recently removed the spare tire and mounted the license plate over the holes, shortened the bumber brackets on the back and will be installing a 36 pickup rear bumber (they are strait, no "dip" in the center).
He hopes to have it running in a couple days.
    Enjoy!!

    Wow Lenny!
That looks so good! I don't think you are going to be able to bolt the hood back on:D Keep us posted.

You know what I like? I like the fact that he did not use Acorn nuts on the heads. Love the way the OG nuts look on a flatty.

I'm thinking it will get them once the engine is run and the nuts retorqued. He puts em on everything...

I normally catch flak for disliking the acorns as opposed to the OG nuts but I'm a little nuts so that may be my problem. I think the engine is so nice that there is little you can do to make me not like it. Still I would prefer the regular nuts if it were mine. What even he likes is "A ok" with me.

That is looking sweet. I have one of those as well but it's in need of restoration. Any shots of the back with the new bumper?

The new bumbers on order, so he does not have it yet. I'll post some pics when it arrives and gets installed.

I've got a soft spot for '36 sedans, and this one is close to perfect for me!

I like it and I also want to know how did he lower it in the back? I am in need of lowering my 39 and am interested in knowing if this still has the stock rear and spring set up and if so I am curious to know what he did to the rear.

Broke down  on the side of the road, no. Maybe I'll leave it in the garage:confused:. Hell no, I'll just sit in it - on the side of the road. :)

Reverse eyed spring with a couple springs removed, and 1" longer shackles.
