These are pic's of me with my Dad and his dragster 1971-72. Still remember that day like it was yesterday. The dragster in the pits is a ford six cylinder with boss 302 heads cut and welded to fit the six. It was named Good Vibrations and owned by by Ron Barrow and Andy Boy fron N.J. My dad helped with the car as a young man.

  14. Sure, here I am, 10 years old, at the '71 AHRA Winternationals at Beeline with a Pontiac powered dragster. Since it had a Pontiac in it, I asked my dad to take a pic of me with it.
This was taken (obviously) on the pit side near the finish line.

Here is one of few that I have from the many Sundays that I spent at the Thunder Valley Dragways, near Marion, South Dakota, as a kid.

My dad, Gary Hoesing, raced his Kawasaki drag bike up there for quite a few years. He still has it, too! That is my mom in the photo, also.

This was 1985, I believe. I would have been 6 years old. Thanks to Tim (MCINK) for scanning his old negatives. Viva La HAMB!
