I posted these family pictures years ago on the original hamb board. My father-n-law was a member of the Pharaohs in Toledo back in the mid 50's

 

This truck looks very similiar to one I have seen floating around some of the west coast shows. Very cool!!

For the studebaker guys: From the City of Vernon's city hall. Too bad the pic doesn't show all the detail. Pin-stripped suites, perfect hair. Damn they had style back then.

 

You are right on about "style". Somewhere, we seem to have lost our way...

Sad ending to a truck I went on many service calls in.

 

Pacific Avenue at Kearny (foreground), San Francisco. Strip clubs, *****houses, etc., etc., and no, it no longer exists as it was. Today Pacific Avenue is just another blah downtown street.
