look at what I just got myself into.. I picked up a I6 250. TH350, And a 70 nova rear end. I just have to find someone in my area to blast it.. I should have something to post in a few months.. I paid 300.00 and a compressor

 

Some that I've saved. Have to have a fleetline one day.

 

I have a rod and custom a few months old with a small pic of henry montebello's 50,its black,anybody have info or pics on this car?

how bought chopped fleetlines,do you section the trunk lid or drop it down?

 

heres my 49, im in the process of replacing the bumpers with originals or something gaudy with chrome to bajesus and back. its getting a new starter tomorrow and soon to be in new paint. gonna be off white with black accents. its sitting on an 81 pontiac chassis with the stock 301 motor and has powr steering with disk brakes up front. havint trouble finding the bumpers though... anyway, enough talk.. pix!

nice,what grill and taillights work on these cars,i see grill swap for other cars but not a lot on these?
I love that yellow fleetline,never thought i would like yellow but that is bad ass...

 

Any info on henry montebellos black 50 fleetline,would like some info and pics,i think it was in the last garage mag???

 

got some posted on other threads , hasnt changed to much yet, got put on the backburner for a little bit, been driving it while i have been chopping a 47 plymouth, and building a 29 model a pickup, going to take body off of frame this winter and go through chassis , still have a few more body mods i want to do still, going to keep taildragger stance , keeping all original flathead drivetrain, going to be rasberry candy over a silver base with cream watson style scallops on all sides of the car , plan on having plymouth and pontiac done and painted this time next year!

Green is Brad Masterson, the gold one is Frank Livingstons(the orginal one is in black and white the color is the one Oz recently built him)

 

Wow, this thread has went this far with no mention of the BASS Fleetline? THat car is the most badass custom I have ever seen in my life. The 49-52 Fleetlines are my favorite car ever and the one he has been building is by far the best example of a Fleetline as well as the best example of a raw talent I have ever seen.
