57 El Camino.

    I saw a post on here about a 62 El camino. So I thought I would share this pic of the last car my father in law did. it was a Nomad that someone had botched the chop on. so he fixed the chop and added the rear window. From what I know the car is still in the same shape as in this pic. I hope to be able to get my hands on it. It has some sentimental value to my wife and I as it was the last car her dad worked on.

    It isn't a Nomad, its a sedan delivery.

    I was told it was a nomad. How can you tell its a sedan delivery?

    The doors are not curved on top at the rear edge...It may have been a 2 door wagon, but not a Nomad....

    A nomad doesn't have post on the doors and has a slanted B pillar.

    Does the tail gate flip down? If so it was a 2 door wagon

    Didn't you guys know every single station wagon that Chevy built from 1955-1957 was a Nomad??? Even the 4 doors! :rolleyes:

  11. Dont cha all know that all wagons are nomads????
    People have been telling me that about my 4 door wagon for years,
    Just like all rancheros' are el'caminos.....
