Great find, keep us informed on how good (or bad) they are after you get them out and home.

I haven't been on here for a long time, but damn, nice find! I've dug up lots of cars here in nebraska with some good luck... if you need some help I've got lots of shovels! ;)

  3. A fellow had a 1916 ford T touring at the surfside S.C. car show a couple weeks ago.Looked like new.He said it was being used to help block up some kind of drainage ditch when he bought it.Looks like you found some cool projects in a ditch too.Glad to hear you are saving them.

  4. Hope there's lotsa usable tin in there. Makes you sick to see that.
Wonder if there'll be ditches full of rusty 2009 Camaros, Challengers and worn out Corvettes in 75 years?

  6. There was a 66 Mustang fastback sitting in a small shed next door to my parents house in Minnetoka, Mn. It's a heavily wooded area. It set for years. I finally took a look at it when I started restoring my '66 GT 350H to use as a parts car. It had been a nice car. 289 4 barrel, stick. It was buired in damp soil half way up to the doors. The interior was full too. It looked like the body would distingrate before you could get it out. Sniff. The home owners son said it had sat for 19 years. Wish I had gotten to it sooner. It was gone a few months later. The shed too.

  7. the GREAT IOWA HAMB TIN DIG 2009.... be there !

REMEMBER THEY STARTED WITH A 30 FOOT DEEP DITCH!

Please replace this old metal with somthing that will stand up as well .... Old tvs .... Washing machines or import cars AND PLANT SOME APPLE TREES

man if'n those cars have frames and fenders- wheels still attached digging is gonna be tuff

USE air - water tools and avoid the urge to just "pull em out" or "cut em out"

    no rush with permission right

and get go it before the trees , vines, ticks and *****ers skunks and snakes get a new summer grip

Ha get the discovery channel to sponser this and you are golden..

    UPDATE Tet shots FOR EVERYONE
