was gonna cheat and post this last night... ANYWAYS; here's some of my 30-plus year collection of styrene dreams. please forgive the dust and stuff and some of the styling cues remember some of these were built more than 20 years ago! and no you won't see plug wires, battery cables, or brake lines on my stuff. i can dig that kind of detail i just don't do it.
good stuff, 62rebel Wish I still had some of my early models. Here's what I've been working on lately, a tribute build of the Diamond Deuce: more pictures here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/album.php?albumid=7622
you've got more patience to FINISH one properly than i do. man that's clean work and great detail. this one ferinstance i been farting with for over nine years now. got the doors and trunk hinged to operate correctly but the hood has been a pure PITA to work out. so, it stays in the box until my next brainstorm (anuerysm?) occurs...
johnny i'm afraid you're fooled! that's the Revell tudor repop from last year. i couldn't cut an original AMT tudor up..... a few more....
Heres some model a kid built a long time ago, try to restore this! Its ugly and interesting. It was on e-bay last week..... I like old builds.
Couldn't find a new model post so thought I would add to this one. I built this 32 Vicky 24 years ago when I was 12 (1984). Decided to wash it off today and share it with you guys. It's pretty much a box stock AMT kit.
Here's my Big Deuces that the cleaning lady dropped, now I have to rebuild them! I'll post pics when I'm done.
I've been out sick for the last 4 days. I was a little bored so put this one together over the weekend. Took the motor out of an old mustang model i built through the 4 banger in the bed. Chopped the roof and added some patina. I think it came out alright for a few hours of work.
I'd love to see more of this Predicta custom!! Any of those for sale??? Pscott.....that thing looks perfect!
