    Looks awesome!

Believe it or not, I don't care for the '36 caps, painted silver like that.

Hey , I stuck the Cad caps on today and I think that's what will stay , Allen had some 41 skirt medallions that I put on to dress them up . Floorboards are all done , thing runs *****in , ****oning up some loose ends and waiting on a couple parts . Windshield frame came back from chrome with some flaws so he's redoing it , should have it Fri. , get the gl*** made and install it over the weekend , then the dash can go in , seat frame etc. and then over to upholstery . Caps some kind of oxblood gl*** on them , redoing the lic. plate frame to match and then I kind of decided on oxblood and white interior .

Great choice on the caps. Definitely the best option, in my opinion.

Can't wait to see the finished car.

Without a doubt - the full caps are the way to go.

If you like, I can come out there and drive your Zephyr around just to keep the battery up, while you are working on the '36.

Got the winshield all put together finally and put in , dash in , steering wheel cleaned up and installed and seat all put in ( with the old burgundy upholstery on it ) Still tying up loose ends and won't have uph. , top or bumpers for the roadster show , but good things come to those who wait . Hopefully get the new set of skirts on tomorrow , horn ****on , new water pump and Allen will rebuild the carbs again .

Thanks Gals and Pals ! Today got the skirts on , polished up a pair of beauty rings and stuck them on the back , rumble cushions in , horn ****on back on , ****oned up more small stuff . It's sitting on the rack in the pictures and will be dropping down a bit more . That 60 year old burgundy upholstery aint' half bad , rumble cushions have original brown underneath still . I'm half tempted to throw the raggedy original top back on too . Can't wait to get the bumpers back from chrome , got the shorty rear irons and I think they'll fit pretty good . Allen and Jake are my heroes ! Without them , this car would still be a primered basket . It's got about 1/2" of outdoor shop dirt on it that I can't wait to wash off also .

Did you guys ever see that 1941 or so picture of Tommy the Greeks 36 phaeton ? I think he had 10 spears on EACH hood side ! It's amazing what 2 extra ones does , gives it a nice look I think !

My grandfather built this one around that same time and it has the two extra spears. It looks good.

VERY, VERY, VERY Nice... thank you for taking so many photos and sharing the rebuild.
I love the early style customs, and this one is so perfect!
