Yesterday was our first day at the workshop and i thought i would post a few pics before heading back over there this morning. This is by far the best time, Gene is such a great teacher and a funny guy too! It's hard to believe he's 80+!!WOW!! Yesterday he showed us some metal shaping techniques that you can do at home without expensive tools and how to make tools at home with stuff you find at your local junkyard and metal supplier. Pretty cool stuff. We also started sectioning 63 Econoline pick up. Gene is redoing THE PACIFICA. Alright i gotta get ready so here's a few pics and i'll post a bunch more pics when i get home tonight!!
yup gene is the king . my head hurt from all the stuff he taught us when i went . i wanna go again to get the stuff that went over my head the first time . I HEART GENE ! donnie
Yeah Donnie, Gene rules big time!! I bought all his instruction videos, it's basically all the stuff he covered, about 12 hours of footage. I guess those videos will be coming out soon on his website. they are still working on setting up his new website. Anyways im horrible a writing so here's some pics!!

Right on guys!! There are no words to describe how ****ing cool Gene is!! He is pretty intimidating at first though!LOL! Soooooooo much information, that's the reason i bought the videos. I already watched the CHOPPING TOPS VIDEO and it's a must have for anybody thinking about chopping their car. They'll be out soon like i said. I had never seen so many Mercs in one place, unreal the amount of rad stuff in his shop and in the back of his property! I gotta say i was pretty stoked when he told me he liked my project and i was doing some good work. Im ****ing flying high right now, i wanna finish my car ASAP!!! And i will!!!! Ian

ill spend hours talking to him every autorama he even got my boy interested in hotrods after letting him play around in his roadster(btw it was his first ever paint job on this one)
I was supposed to be at that cl***.. But stuff came up I will not miss it next time... looks like a killer time...
Wow..just wow! The guy is timeless! He does not look 80ish. Please learn all you can. Just drink it in!
