Plugs for 302 with 289 heads????

Being a newbie to Ford engines, not sure what plugs to use for a 30 over 302, points distributer, flat top pistons, mild cam, 4 barrel carb, C4 trans, 289 4 barrel heads. Any Ford guys out there???? Thanks...

 

For the most part 289/302 heads are the same with the exception of some late Explorer heads (GT-40 I think).

Just get plugs for a 67 Mustang with a 289 and they should work fine.

 

I have pretty much the same setup as you and I'm just running stock autolite plugs. Unless you start getting crazy with the cam the stock plugs should work just fine.
