Wow, so many great cars, parts, projects & racers... Eric, I have a set of tailights. There hiding in the trunk. After what I paid for them I didn't want the NV. sun to fade them.
S'more... Louis Buccieri's 406 C.I.D. with 4-71: The '40 Ford coupe he ran it in: The flamed '57 Olds that was at the CHRR. Who's bomb was this? Sweet ride. I didn't get a pic of the back, but it was sporting a continental kit: milk milk milk

Sorry, I didn't save anymore of the red A. It was for sale in Canada on one of the websites. It was kind of g***er-style, up in the air a bit. Would'a made a cool C-gas car or something. I was mainly interested in the engine pic. Now, anybody wanna see some Olds-powered ALTEREDS????
The projects on this board are just rad, Bleh, I can just see that '56 w/ your horne!! Your running the stock '56 right?!! Noah, those motor mounts are about the coolest cheasy thing I've ever seen!! That Rocket still looks like a fish. Garth, send me your address, you'll get something you've been wanting, Whooo ha ha ha haaa!!!
That red A was for sale here in Langley. A friends bought it out of SoCal. It had an injected 394 with a B+M Hydro. He had great plans for it but ended up selling it untouched, now the car has disappeared.
peter did you get that one off the McCulloch site? heres another.hope it hasnt been posted. and these
wow.. six carb dual supercharged Olds chopped channeled three window white wall cheaters.... drool.. Paul
Been a while since I've had time to post to this cool thread! I found an old shot of my Olds, back from '84, going across the Bay-Bridge Tunnel in VA, going to SledScene East. Still in black primer, then, thought you'd be tired of seeing it in paint!
Don't think I ever posted a shot of the engine, either. This isn't a great pic, and the engine was detailed even nicer afterwards, but I couldn't find a shot of it in it's current form!
A shot of "Firesuit Phil's" '46 Ferd that he raced back in '62... this photo is of him at this year's National Hot Rod Reunion. Yep, that's with a rocket motor. Now 387 CID... I'm kinda milking this thread, hoping for more pics from you guys. But I still got some great pics up my sleeve. Like Olds-powered altereds...
I had the chance to meet him and see that car run a couple of years back..Really a great guy and 'One Bad ***' car...I practically used up 1 roll of film on that car!!...Dirty
Chopolds, I love that car. I first saw it at LeadEast in 86 or 87. I'll never get board of seeing it. Billy
[ QUOTE ] K&R, PM me and I'll give you some websites that may be of interest for your '64. OK, time for more pics. This '61 was on eBay within the last few weeks: It still had the 394 (what imagination!), and was running an EFI-converted Hilborn: The car got bid up to somewhere in the 40-50-60K range. Guess who the high bidder was. The guy's wife! She didn't want him to sell it. But the second highest bidder was willing to pay dearly... [/ QUOTE ] that car belonged and was built by a local guy here in the Lansing Michigan area. i've seen the car a few times and a friend of mine knows the guy. i've never met him but i think he works at the same place as me. that car is BEAUTIFUL!!! the injection is new in the last year. i think the car looks WAAAYYY better with the Radir wheels he has for it. it's a great car. Mike
Ok just to add mine too... Hey rodncustom... that doucoil was in a box of spare parts I got with the ch***is project. basicly everything was put in storage in a barn outside El Centro Cal in '62 and collected dust till the original builder decided to keep take the '34 body and scap the rest for a billet rod. thats when I came in and picked up the pieces to reserect the remains. I traded it to marcus when I needed a few final parts.
