A few of my friends said i need to take it downto the track just to see what she would do. I pulled in to the strip with a 27 t ford coupe. Instead of seeing tons of novas and mustangs i saw hondas as far as the eyecould see. It was a great time, most asked what was on top of the motor, and others asked if it was a 1950 something, others just called it a rustbucket. My first p*** was a smokey ride at 15 seconds. How depressing, my buddy told me not to floor it so after that i ran 13.2. The fastest i ran was 13.0 at 106, two times before they shut the track down friday night. 10 laps in all. heres some pics, enjoy
Cool! You musta been pedaling that ****er past the 1/8th mile to end up with that trap speed with that blower! Cars ya gotta pedal the hell out of are definitely fun.
Maybe, just maybe, he didn't have the only domestic at the import drags. The HAMB needs more threads with timeslip scans!!!
yea i raced some hondas, no pics of any of that though.. I found a nice lady to take them pics for me... It was funny at the staging lane all thoses cars there and than mine, and yes my car was not the only american car, there was a few, but we were far out numbered
sweet. i always loved the staging lanes full of honda interiors laying there. the weight savings of course.... glad to see someone actually put it on the track. you gonna try to get a better time out of it or were you just goofin off?
I always laugh cuz I see way more 10 sec. street driven imports than 10 sec. street driven hot rods, but it's always the hot rodders making fun of the import cars. Most guys with imports think hot rods are cool. Maybe thats just how it is where i live? Anyway glad you had fun at the track. We have been going to motor speedway in NJ "e- town" it's the best time I have had in a while. booze, hot rods, girls, bands, and drag racing!
Would of ;oved to see your face when they asked the questions... i know they said it was a fifties something but did they ask what color you were gonna paint it...
