new from texas

    Ive had a 1950 gmc for a while and just got a 292 for it, thought this place would be a good source for info. If you know anything about these motors please let me know. Thanks.

    Welcome to the HAMB! I replaced my 235 with a inline 292 a few yrs. back in my '55 BelAir. A good step up in power. Am able to pull O.D. trans. gears now & upped my trip MPG to 21 to 22.
