Feeling ten-foot-tall as just spent Saturday at Billetproof Detroit and had a great time. Made the 150 mile round trip in my newly completed '34 Hudson without a hitch. Big relief as the new 408 c.i. Chevy is pretty snotty (big roller cam, Dart heads, etc...) and only had a few miles on it before the trip. Anyone who heard the car at Billetproof can understand where the name Evil 'Son came from. The thing sounds wicked when uncorked. Billetproof could not have been better. Great cars, great people, and perfect weather. Highlight of the day for me had to be having Safariknut stripe and letter the car. I was like a frickin' kid on Christmas morning after it was done (Thanks Ray, your amazing). On Sunday, a friend said I was getting ****y so I figured it was time for my first post here. Nothing like a few old-timers telling the newbie what he did wrong to get the ego back in check. Let the opinions fly and the flogging begin!!!!!!!
Thanks! Cam is Comp roller #12-602-8. Duration @.050 243 intake 257 exhaust. .533 lift Sound is wicked. Throttle response is great. Haven't really hammered it yet as engine is very fresh and ****** needs some beefing up to be up to the task - thats next..
That is a beautiful car man. Wheels, snotty motor,...the whole shebang. Great looking ride. Used to live in midland. Miss it. Except the mosquitos. And the humidity.
your 1st mistake was letting ray touch it!!! just kidding rays the man, and the coupe is sick!! congrats.. dave
I shouldn't have wimped out and had Ray put the "Evil 'Son" lettering on the whole door not just the surfer scoop. Maybe next time.....
Very nice!!!! Very Very Nice. and the "Correct Tires" Thank You for the purchase! Cody Hurst Racing Tires
Yeah, I'm a "hot rodder" not a "scene guy", so SOUND means WAY more to me than looks, and that thing sounded GOOD. As I was working the gate watching all of the cars roll by me, I was actually REALLY disappointed with how a lot of them sounded... not yours.
I was the founder of Daddy O's Diner. Opened in early 2007. Recently sold the business, but still own the building. Been there???
