These guys? http://http://www.mtscadparts.net/servlet/the-Drive-Train/Categories Seems like there was a couple other companies making those kits, but damned if I can find 'em now.
I put a four speed behind a 500 with a stock Pontiac bell housing check the swaps the fly wheel was more of a problem finding, I found one in New Mexico I froget where it was but they carry all the caddy stuff. Hope this helps
Bellhousing isn't the problem like paintcan54 said. Any BOP bell lines up just fine but the flywheel for it runs about 500.00 last I knew.
Yep. Gotta have the crank machined for the pilot bearing. My understanding is that none of the Caddy cranks have a pilot bearing provision.
I had a caddy 500 in my work truck with a 5 speed NV4500 behind it,The flywheel is definately the spendy part, the crank can be drilled by hand using a regular drill. There is a pilot bushing available that fits into the torque converter register, the crank just needs a clearance hole drilled in it for ****** input shaft clearance, this can be done with the motor ***embled.
