custom built intakes???

has anyone built a custom intake for any inline 6?
I would like to see some pics & ideas!

I am thinking of building a 3-1 barrel intake for a 223 ford!
What should I know?

"onenew32" is on this form, built my intake and headers last summer. I have a 230 chevy with 2-2 intake. it runs great will smoke the tires and get 21 mpg.

 

I have built a few and i have Alum & Steel flanges for chevy L6s for those who want to build thier own intakes. But it's not all that hard to do.
