I have had many discussions with HAMBERS about TJ tuck n roll and here is mine. This comes from a place called champions in TJ he has been donig this since 1965,this is quality work for an amazing price.I havent had any trouble with it since it was finished.Anyone who wants to come on down to san diego and cross the border with there rides and get this done i am happy to go with. This proves that there is no drugs, cow **** and such hidden in your interior,i wasnt shot at,nor did i get the swine flu.I got some great work in 12 hrs.

    Damn that's cool!
Did they do the seat covers and door panels only? Was there any seat foam work involved?

Great price for a great looking interior!

They're too busy shooting cops and each other to build a bomb. Thirteen bodies found this week so far?

There's THAT... and China don't make tequila.

Killer interior for a killer price. I'm impressed. I had to pay 600 bucks for a single bench seat done in two tone here in Austin. It was worth it for the quality... but seeing your post makes me wish I was closer to TJ. I don't see any real difference in quality between my interior and yours either!

I have to save up another 600 bucks to do the sun visors, door panels and kick panels in two tone... and it's just a Willys pickup... geez.

Diggin' that interior! I'm looking at that very pattern for my wagon seats! Never thought about my door panels - yours look really nice! There are a couple of local shops down in what is now the "Little Mexico" side of town, that are supposed to be top-notch upholstery shops. Guess I need to go and look! TJ is a LONG way to go for me!

I took out the seats and door panels as well as the package tray and floor mats, which were also tuck n rolled.I loaded them in a truck and went down with my friends interior as well which was a 65 impala convertable. Both interiors took 12 hours with 8 people working on them.I have had no trouble going down there,i dont hang with a drug cartel and i dont get drunk and be a loud mouth white guy who draws attention to themselves.I am about customs and to me i have to do what i can to get my ride built.I also place 100% trust in the shop i go to.

What happened to T.J.? Used to go down there (1959-1964) and a full upholstery job was $90, in '64 prices soared to $115! Now $650? (just kidding, a great job was always done in 8 hours, by Victory Upholstery right off the main drag, left on the first street 2 blocks on the left side.) Owner was fluent in English, I always tipped his guys with a bottle of tequila (Mescal) each, and a $10 bill.
Point is, a full job could be had for a week's wages. I was a mechanic, so I always made $$. Yours is twice the job that I used to be happy with, though. 2-1/2" pleats were the rule then, Tony Nancy changed all that with the Ivo T. 1". Wow. Beauty.

Looks great. It took the shop here 7 months to get mine done....and 2 months or more to do just the front seat of Arkiehotrod's Nomad. :/ I bought my own machine for the next one...TJ is too far from here. LOL
