I have checked google and on the HAMB and for some reason cant find what I'm looking for. Busted my tailshaft on the trans of my 383/727 combo and need to find a replacement but need to know which one, long story why I don't know this. So here are the numbers that I was able to pull off:Bellhousing-up on top of driver side it has 103-8-on the driver side toward the bottom it has 3 743103-8Tailshaft-passenger side it has 4028191 then to the side in a weird arragnement 75 2 05305.From what I have been able to find out is that the tailshaft is possibly from a 75 car/light truck. Could someone please help with this so that I can get some new parts. Thanks

Thanks for the help. I'm going to tear into this thing on Sunday and try and get it repaired. I found a shop here that looks to be very helpful. He said to bring in what I have and he will match it, tailshaft itself and the new seal/bearing for $40.
