I found a cowl for a star car (Made by Durant Motors). Did a HAMB search and came up empty. Anybody have pictures of the Star Automobile. Google came back with celebrity (star) cars. I also have the back half of an A roadster and was thinking about combining the two. Cowl looks like may have been a roadster or at least windshield was somehow mounted separate as I don't see where it attached.
There is a resto rod Star coupe that I see occasionally around here. Its a bit bigger than a Ford. Definately a good looking car. Its a late 20s early 30s ride in a custard color.

You mean you found a cowl out in the bush and did,nt put it on here for us to ID. STAR had a pretty simple grille badge. Heres mine.
Was this car in a Texas museum? I knew a man from Cisco back in 63 that restored a Star touring car exactly like this car. Same color and everything. I bought a Model A Town Sedan from him, but sold it when I got married and joined the Navy.
