Cool, thanks Bob. Although, I guess those are pics that you tried to upload. They aren't available to view. Also, please list the contact info for the "JW Rod Garage" if you please. I am trying to do all my home work now, so that when I have enough money, I will be better informed and able to make a better decission.

    Thanks,
    Michelle

DO NOT REVERSE SPINDLES OR FLIP !!!! they dont pay millions of dollars for payroll in Detroit to Engineers to " JUST FLIP SPINDLES " theres more to it than that ! use dropped spindles ( uprights ) or a Mustang II style front end! much safer for everybody in the car and on the road.

I think its only applicable on '49-'51 Ford shoe boxes. Not on other cars like the '48 Chevy.

How I lowered my 48 buick. I bought an extra set of springs (front 64 impala, back chevy truck) cut some coils on front, on the rear Cut some coils. I bought cups that holds the springs in place on a hydraulics set up, about $25. Bolted that to trailing arm. It holds the cut spring in place. Under $100 bucks.
