    Hi;
    My name is Alan, Been sitting in the background learning how things work here and decided it was time to let everyone know I am here. I have alway had some sort of old school - wasn't old school when I had them - ride around. I grew up with cars as a constant, mostly Studebaker coupes. Currently putting my '46 Studebaker PU back on the road - I have owned the truck nearly 40 years and run a SBC in ti since '85 or so. Still have Dad's full custom '53 Studebaker HT we cut in '62 - never quite finished that one. Will move it into the shop this winter I hope.
    I have spent the last 20 years or so restoring classis era Jaguar Xk's - nothing newer than. Built severalo national champion cars in those years. also built a couple of full customs - 1949 Cadillac Sedanete, '62 Jaguar small sedan etc.
    I will post pics as soon as I figure that one out.
    I have photos of my Dad's A-V8 from 1942, his custom Chrysler from 1945 or so, the Dusenburg indy car he drove daily in 1948/9. Great old school stuff. Still haven't gone through all of the old photos, much less loaded them onto the computer.

    A little late, but welcome to the board.
    I live in the Eastgate area of Hellevue and own a '53 Stude pickup (in the avatar).

    It'd be great to see some progress shots as you move thru the new project.

    Dig your truck, I'll keep an eye out for you on the road.
