    The brown one?

I love the color scheme and everything but the weird "broken" looking frame. If the frame had been straight and it had a "normal" stance I'd be madly in love.

The car was build by Derrick of the Corsairs Car Club.

I really liked it! It's not perfect and everybody would have done this and that different, but it's a fresh build and it really got the attention at the show. The guys in the Corsairs are great. That Coupe won two awards.

  9. not wanting to hijack this, but simply to show what I had to do to get the stance of my coupe to look like what I wanted. Its a highboy on a boxed model a frame, pie cut at the cowl and new inner and outer frame sideplates made at the bend areas and fishplated on the inside prior to closing up, and z-d in the rear 10 inches. I dont mind a kinked up or kicked up frame....I used what was came with the car and I like the results, probably just like the owners of the other 2 coupes do. I have a safe scrub line to boot..that was planned into it before I ever cut the rails. :)

IMO Get bent-ness is a response to people rejecting a traditional hot rod style.....channeled in front but not in back putting rake in the body. To me that's part of the stinkbug look that a hot rod should have. Mine is about an inch and a half over the rails at the firewall and alot of people comment that they don't like it and it shoulda been incorporated into the frame design. Even though it was :)

There's some super clean cars in this thread.

I like both A's but that Chevy pickups got all the right looks.I've been seeing it in a couple of magizines lately.REBLE RODZ.Love that truck:D

  14. I was parked near that car, pretty nice but not a look that appeals to me. It appeals to the right people since it won some trophy's.
