Howell's Sheetmetal ?????

Bought from Howells several times, never any problems. Panels were delivered in a timely fashion and fit right.

My 84 year old Grandpa has been trying to get 28 Phaeton parts from him for 3-4 weeks and he's holding up the work another HAMBer who is putting his car together for him.

Says he has stuff in stock and that it went out. ********. Several times over.

If you don't have it grow a set and say so. I'd rather like to know when than be fed lies.

Also returning phone calls is a big boy thing to do too. Does anyone know if his mommy is still around to hold his hand.

Poor communications and poor customer service.

 

There 32 cowl patches are better. I bought Brookvilles's first, ****ed. I saw Howell's were alot more detailed, so I bought them.

 

great sheet metal for many years....they never did master the business end of it. but darn good people. and have supplied many a good panel in very high quality to many people in need. I know in todays world when you electronically send the money, you want it on your doorstep in the next couple days. but Howell's is a AMERICAN made product ..... relax, allows some extra time, get a great product. and remember model T's and model A's never had a body panel that lined up like todays cars. Howell's are great people in my book. and great fiddle pickers too. Cadillac Dave

I ordered a roof insert for the A last month and it got here in a week from when I ordered it. Not bad service for something like that.

 

I had problems with them in the past. I canceled my order and had my money returned.

 

I finally got my patch panels last week after calling them several times, so if anyone need patch for 30-31 pickup doors or drivers side cab corner let me know. I have acouple I won't be using.

 

I've bought lots of parts and never had a problem. Shipping was always prompt too. For the price- they are good parts.
