Remember boys, those cars are HIS property and if he chooses to let them rot into the earth it is HIS business. A sad tale but that's the way it goes.

What's his reasoning for keeping them? Did he say?

Whats wrong with people? I guess they think thats it's better to let them rot than someone else having them to enjoy.

If the old man did do something with them, they wouldn't be there waiting for you to wine and dine his grand daughter and maybe become a friend of his.

You do have to respect that they are his cars but its so sad to see them sit there. The box trailers are so old and falling apart sinking in to the ground. He said one day they will go to is 35 year old son and the son, standing there says " I dont want them fu**ing old cars! Ill junk em!" That day apart of me died!

no but i think it's a **** move to just hoard pieces of history-selfishly, knowing that you will not touch them. just to keep them so nobody else will have them. it's a weird control thing that i think qualify a lot of people to be considered ****s, selfish ****s in fact.
it's true, they will be for sale at some point, after he p***es away. but i think it's a shame. i could understand if it were one car that maybe had some sort of sentimental importance to the owner, but not to hoard three trailers full of cars. but hey, it is his stuff and he can do what he wants with it. more power to him. i'll still consider him a **** though. i'm probably just jealous.

Maybe he is just waiting for a family member who will see them back on the road...
And maybe he showed them to you for a reason...

I'm just sayin' - old hoarders don't show their stuff off to just anyone.

The cars are so nice, all of them were driven into the trailers. Battery fresh gas, oil and a lil lube in the cylinders and they would fire right up!

Well there you go. When the son gets them, you try to get them. *** pimple as that.

When the son said he would junk them that would have been music to my ears. At least he doesn't think there worth 100K. Your in the drivers seat now if you and Honda Girl don't screw it up. By the way. What would you do with them??

I don't see what the big deal is. If a man doesn't want to sale his cars he doesn't have to. I don't see how that makes him a ****. He has them in dry storage so they are not rusting away. More than likely he has had a lot of people lowball price him and doesn't want to mess with people

These cars are so nice I would go through em and try and preserve the car and actually leave em alone. Well except all the miles they would get!

Just keep talking to him about them til he gets interested in why he kept them in the first place maybe you will be the guy who gets them out in the sunlight!

offer to help get em up and running its alot of work for 1 guy but if he had a young guy with some excitement helping he might go for it!

    Never know till you try!

I've seen what happens to sealed storage containers and metal in humid climates. Not the best thing in the world. Hope they're vented. Tell him you plan on putting electric motors in them.

The problem is the trailers are fallin apart there inking in the ground and the floors are starting to buckle. Thats why I freak out any time I think about it.
