Yeah, "The"..........this is The Rock. Been jammin dis board wit ma peeps fo awhile now...we ain't the "scene" heah. We be traditional hot rod/custom enthusiasts. We have a few crossover types that build bikes AND traditional rods and customs but they're actually similar to the guys and girls here that also dabble in VW's. Our main focus is on hotrods and customs done in a traditional style....if you remember that, you may survive your flogging, which, by the way, has been very mild...good luck ----I think.

Ah hell, I've been gone for a while. I check back in to see a post from the goose. He's a buddy of mine, so I'm kinda stoked. Then I go through two pages of **** that looks like a cross between a conversation in the hair salon and the monologue of some drunken retard on the CB. I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I know we get a lot of goofballs that come through here, but we got a fellah here who has done nothing but post a humble intro. Can't hardly see sellin' him down river for just that. The Goose is a good fellah. He's a young guy who's looking toward some of y'all to learn a thing or two. He doesn't claim to know anything he doesn't. He keeps an open mind to new ideas. He's a man of his word. He calls it the 'scene' because he hasn't yet read the ten page long thread where you hens tried to figure out what else to call it. Yeah, he's building a bike. It's not a bike board. Fine. ...but: - there's a lot of how-to here he can benefit from he hasn't found elsewhere. - there's a lot of stuff that crosses over from cars to bikes. - he's interested in working on his striping, and there are some really excellent folks here that can school him. - I've spoken fondly of the HAMB, so go figure. - You might be surprised to see what he eventually has to offer. So get out of the henhouse and go build something, you ninnies. ...and thanks to those that have been big enough to at least offer a few words of encouragement. -jf
