A Buick Fan!!

Well, i finally joined! I just purchased a 1953 Buick Special 8 last night. I will be picking it up this weekend! My avator is a pic the previous owner sent me. He had the 53 for about 8 months & planned on doing some work to it. I guess something had forced him to sell it. I drive by his house everday on my delivery route.That is how i found the Buick.So i finally stop by his house several months back to see if he was going to sell. He said he had it listed,alot of calls but no serious offers.I stayed in contact with him by phone & email. Finally i got the word last night by email!! I will be the only 3rd owner. All parts are there except for the hood ornament & the small corner front fender trim.

Hey RT, is that Buick actually hooked up to that ginormous trailer or just strategically parked in front of it?

 

Just strategically parked, the trailer is a 27' Airstream Argosy that I'm setting up as a guest quarters. They do look kinda cool together back there, though!
